Quick answers about the free plan, Pro, and the Telegram bot, with links straight to where each thing is done.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free works instantly in Telegram with no sign-up or card: unlimited text logging, a few photo scans a day, your daily goal, /today and /week totals, a streak and an evening reminder.

Pro (€6.99/month or €49/year, 14-day free trial) adds more photo scans per day, the web dashboard with a 7-day chart, a Sunday recap with one food to add (by email and in Telegram), and a CSV export. Refer a friend and you both get a week of Pro.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings → Manage subscription. That takes you to the secure billing portal, where cancelling is two clicks. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for (or the end of your trial). No calls, no questions.

How do I log from Telegram?

Open the bot, press Start, and send what you ate in plain words: 2 slices rye bread and a banana, or 150g lentils. It replies with the fibre in each item and your total for the day. No sign-up or card is needed for the free plan.

If you have a Pro account on the web, connect it once in Settings so the chat and the dashboard share the same numbers. Send /unlink in the chat or use Settings to disconnect. Subscribing and cancelling always happen on the website, never in the chat.

How do photo estimates work?

Send the bot a photo of your plate (or upload one on the web) and an AI model proposes the foods it sees and a portion for each. You then correct the grams, remove anything wrong and confirm. Nothing is logged until you do. The free plan includes a few scans a day; Pro includes more.

Treat it as a head start, not a measurement: weight is hard to judge from a picture, and mixed dishes hide ingredients. Each line says how sure the estimate is. For foods in our built-in list the fibre value is the same typical figure search uses; for anything else it is the model's own estimate and is marked as such. The photo itself isn't stored.

How do I sign in on another device?

There's no password. Go to the sign-in page, enter the email you subscribed with, and we'll send a link that signs you in. The link works once and expires after 20 minutes.

Can I change my fibre goal?

Yes. In Settings, or by sending /goal 35 to the bot, you can set your daily goal anywhere from 20g to 50g. The change applies from today; past days keep their totals.

I can't find a food

Everyday unbranded foods (fruit, vegetables, pulses, grains, nuts) are built in. Packaged products come from Open Food Facts, a crowdsourced database whose coverage varies by country and shop.

  • Search one ingredient at a time rather than a whole dish
  • Add the brand or shop name, e.g. "Lidl muesli"
  • Try the English name if the local one doesn't match
  • If a product exists but has no fibre value, log the closest common food instead
I forgot to log yesterday

On the web dashboard (Pro), tap any of the last seven days in the chart on the Today screen, then log as usual. Entries are added to the day you selected. In Telegram, /undo removes the last thing you logged.

How accurate are the numbers?

Good enough to steer by, not laboratory-grade. Common foods use typical values from public food-composition tables, and product values are whatever is recorded on Open Food Facts. Real foods vary, so treat your total as a close estimate.

What's the refund policy?

During the 14-day trial: nothing is charged. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.

After a charge: email support@fibremaxxing.app from your account email within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund the unused part of that payment. This doesn't affect any withdrawal rights you have under consumer law.

Can I export or delete my data?

Both, yourself, at any time. Settings has a CSV download of everything you've logged (Pro), and a delete-account button that permanently removes your data and cancels any subscription. Photos sent for estimates are never stored.

How do I stop the emails?

Sunday recaps and occasional nudges can be switched off in Settings, or with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of those emails. Emails about charges on your account (such as trial-ending reminders) are always sent.

Still stuck? Email support@fibremaxxing.app and we'll reply in writing, usually within one working day.
